This month, I want to tell you what’s been going on with our Lil’ Scouts 1on1. We’ve been getting Superb Results! Lil’ Scouts 1on1 is currently just for dogs that are here in Daycamp/Boarding. It’s a 30-minute session with just your dog and the trainer learning the skill that you chose for them. After the class is finished, you will get a video showing your dog’s day at school and featuring them performing the command. You’ll also go home with printed instructions to continue the training at home. You’ll be allowed to choose from our list of Basic Manners and Skills Training Courses (Sit; Stay, Shake, Lay Down, Come, Leave It, Go to your Place, Walk on a Leash, Fetch, Load Up, Roll Over, Go Upstairs/Downstairs, Socialization). The number of sessions is completely up to you! No course length requirements. Some dogs will master the command on the first day, it’s up to you to decide the level of obedience you wish to achieve for your dog. We don’t offer “corrective” behavior training, but our clients ARE finding that when their dogs are trained in the basic commands, they are much more likely to listen to you and understand right from wrong.
