Dear Dog Park patrons, I know some of you with bigger dogs would like to be able to take them in the small dog area for various reasons. And in the past, we have been lenient in certain circumstances (like if your big dog was timid or elderly or maybe another reason). Unfortunately, too many times the leniency is stretched too far, and the result is a negative effect on the park experience of other people and their dogs. There will no longer be any GOOD reason why someone needs to break the rule and take their big dog into the small dog area. Big dogs are not allowed in the small dog area, for any reason. There is a size chart reference outside each of the entrance gates to the small dog section of the park. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this park rule.
As a reminder, if you ever need immediate assistance in the Park and the Park Ranger is not around, just call or text the office with the issue and the Manager or Admin will come out if needed. If there is a non-urgent issue you’d like to tell us about, email [email protected]
Also, please read all the rules and learn the proper dog park etiquette here on this page of our website. As our New Year’s resolution, we will be strictly enforcing these. Especially the first rule.
