Martin Luther King Jr Day at the Park

MLK is a hero of ours. Though a lot of us young folk weren’t alive during his time to fully understand what the 50s and 60s were like, what he stood for, and against, is timeless. He was a person that embodied the American spirit. Bravery, Freedom, Peace, and Equality. On Saturday the 14th, you can come to the dog park for a party honoring that spirit! We’ll have R&B Music from the 50s and 60s, a BBQ food truck: Smoke N Da Air BBQ, and drinks at the bar from the Iced Coffee Ladies. Around the dog park you’ll discover educational posters we made that provide some perspective on the life and times of Martin Luther King, Jr. Did you know he was arrested in St. Augustine?
