If you would like to participate in the 1st Ever Poochie’s One Mile Dog Jog, you will need to Register Here There is no cost, but we will limit how many dog joggers we have. David will email you a confirmation back and that’s it! Thank you all for your support of our 1st ever Dog Jog.
9:45-10 am – Participants gather with dogs on leash in the small dog area near the double gates that open to Oak Lane. (Look for the balloons). Sign in at the table and pick up your custom Poochie’s running scarf for your dogs.
10:25 am – The National Anthem and then your run/jog/walk begins.
10:45-11 am – As the jogging participants finish the 1-mile loop they enter the park to the sound of music from our Live Band! Runners are handed a bottle of water and our Dog Jog “Medal”!
11 am- The Dog Park Party begins!
– Free Dog Park Entry! All friendly dogs and their humans are welcome! (see our vaccine requirements and restrictions here). All non-members will need to check-in at the Back Gate near the building (look for the tent). Bring your up-to-date vaccine records if we don’t already have them on file.
– 20% Off Memberships Only available during the park party. Come to the main office to get a new park membership or add on to existing memberships with this discount.
-Black Creek Pet Clinic at Poochies. Visit the doctors and techs of Black Creek at their side of the building for a special treat.
– Live Band Hip Street! Playing all your dog’s favorites in the park.
Safe Animal Shelter volunteers in attendance with adoptable dogs to play with.
Behind the scenes Tours of Poochie’s Daycamp and Boarding areas at
11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:10pm. Take a guided tour through kennel areas, Courtyard, and down “The Runway”.
Food Truck and Drinks and Snacks served right inside the dog park for the first time ever at the new Food Truck and Snack bar!
12 pm: The Chuck It competition starring Poochie The Santa Dog! A Park Party Tradition.
1:30 pm: End of Party But you’re all welcome to stay as long as you like.
